Project Coordinator

Summit is currently looking for a Project Coordinator to provide support of the Engineering Propulsion Systems Department in the management of day-to-day project coordination.  This support includes project coordination and integration, tracking and reporting, meeting support, research and maintenance, and other functions necessary for the successful operations of the Propulsion Systems Department. For this requirement, the Contractor shall perform the requirements in Section 4.1, General Project

Coordination Support, and 4.3, Space Act Agreements and Enhanced Use Leases Support under minimal supervision. The Contractor shall interact with Propulsion Systems Department personnel and Engineering Directorate management at MSFC. The Contractor shall also interact with project personnel at MSFC and other Centers, including Component Facilities and Technical & Service Support Centers.  Along with providing general project coordination support, the Contractor shall manage and

process Engineering Propulsion Systems Department facility service and move requests, including maintaining SRS access, ensure accurate space utilization, maintain a department seating chart for civil servants, interns, and contractors, and coordinate with relevant service providers. The Contractor shall also maintain a department seating chart for civil servants,

interns, and contractors, coordinate and facilitate the Propulsion Systems Department monthly project reviews on a weekly basis, facilitate and publish the Propulsion Systems Department’s newsletter, i.e. ER Happenings, on a monthly basis, and other meeting coordination and

facilitation as required.  The Space Act Agreement (SAA) specialist within ER will have the following responsibilities to assist the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC), Management Point of Contact (MPOC), and the Partnership and Formulation Office (PFO) in the creation, negotiation/costing, and

finalization of all SAA’s within the Department. Specific tasks in ER may include but not limited to the following:

  1. Work with the M/TPOC to organize and facilitate the agreement process.
  2. Support the development of the Partnership Information Form (PIF) and assist during the Partnership Working Group (PWG) with the MPOC/TPOC.
  1. Gathering information, with the M/TPOC, from the Partner to draft the agreement.
  2. Route agreements in the Partnership Agreement Maker (PAM.)
  3. Assist the M/TPOC and budget analyst, as needed, for the creation of the Estimated Price Report (EPR) for each agreement.
  1. Provide weekly/monthly status on in-process and active agreements to both PFO and ER management.
  1. Setup and maintain an ER SAA SharePoint site including but not limited to, current and past SAAs, SAA status spreadsheets, SAA process documentation and lessons learned, including process flow charts and checklists, etc.

This requirement supports the Propulsion Systems Department located at MSFC. Support for this requirement is on-site at MSFC, Redstone Arsenal, and Huntsville, AL.
