Ground Systems Network Engineer

The primary work location is at GSFC and local facilities in the Greenbelt, MD area with required travel to remote ground station antennae sites. This position is required to support critical weather activities in support of the Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) Program. The Engineer would be tasked to support and adhere to GSFC Safety and Mission Assurance Directorate (SMA) processes and guidelines for oversight of GSFC assigned and contractual developers in order to ensure compliance with NASA standards, policies and procedures. Project Control Specialist
Summit is currently looking for a Project Control Specialist to provide support services at NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio. The candidate will perform program/project analysis and schedule development/analysis in order to integrate, maintain, and utilize integrated cost-schedule baselines. This position will provide input in program/project earned value management and/or risk management processes. Summit is currently looking for experienced Quality Assurance Engineers to provide oversight to Goddard Space Flight Center programs and projects. Candidates should have experience in Quality Assurance Engineering, with NASA and GSFC Safety and Mission Assurance experience a plus. The position requires a working understanding of software assurance activities, process auditing, requirements traceability, and problem reporting. The position also requires the ability to work well with others, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to independently review and assess compliance with NASA’s requirements.
